The Epic of the Stone and the Bird
A toothless bird swallows a stone older than mountains and uses it to grind its food, and Imad reads in it a lesson for people.

Imad wrote this poem about one of nature's small wonders: some birds swallow stones and grind their food with them inside a muscle, since they have no teeth. He watches a small bird take in a stone that has outlived mountains, seas and civilizations, and draws the lesson that weakness can invent its own strength from the simplest things.
In a morning no one hears…
A small bird stood at the edge of the world,
Owning no sword… no armor… not even teeth,
Yet within its chest, it carried the secret
of survival.
I saw it pick up a stone…
A stone born millions of years ago,
That witnessed mountains collapse,
And seas withdraw,
And civilizations that forgot their own names.
Then… the bird swallowed it.
Not to hide it…
But to turn it into a weapon in its daily battle with hunger.
Inside it…
There is no iron hammer,
But a living muscle…
Grinding the stone…
Turning hardness into nourishment,
Turning time into living energy.
What a scene…
A silent stone from an ancient time,
Dwelling inside a creature that lives only years,
As if eternity bowed to a moment.
And here… begins the story never told in textbooks:
That weakness is not incapacity,
But another invention of strength,
And that one who owns no tools of battle…
Creates them from the simplest things.
O human…
How many times did you think you were incomplete?
How many times did
you see yourself toothless in a world of beasts?
Look at this bird…
It borrowed from the earth itself…
To complete what it lacked.
This is not the story of a bird…
This is a mirror…
Showing that life does not give you what you need…
But gives you just enough to reinvent yourself.
From stone…
To the belly…
To life…
Moves the journey no one sees,
Yet it creates everything.
