The Epic of the House of Ananias: The Little House That Changed the Course of History

ملحمة كنيسة حنانيا: البيت الصغير الذي غيّر طريق التاريخ

By Architect Imad Darouich

Ten chapters retell from the Acts of the Apostles how Saul of Tarsus, coming to Damascus to arrest the followers of Christ, was blinded on the road and healed by the disciple Ananias, who called him brother. They then read the underground chapel that tradition holds was Ananias's house, with its Byzantine layers and its rebuilding after 1860.
