The Persistence of Memory: An Epic of Melting Time and the Memory That Refuses to Die
إصرار الذاكرة: ملحمة الزمن الذي يذوب والذاكرة التي ترفض أن تموت
Ten short chapters read Salvador Dalí's painting The Persistence of Memory through the eyes of a Syrian architect in New York, who finds in its melting clocks and devouring ants his lost house in Ghouta, the memory of Damascus and the slow work of forgetting. It holds that memory outlasts what time destroys.
