Adolf Loos: The Architect Who Declared War on Ornament
أدولف لوس: المعماري الذي أعلن الحرب على الزخرفة
Ten chapters follow the architect Adolf Loos from Brno and his American years to his essay Ornament and Crime, the Looshaus and Steiner House in Vienna, the Raumplan of Villa Müller in Prague and the unbuilt Josephine Baker House. His quarrel, the book shows, was with false ornament, since his interiors used marble, rich woods and color.
